This time of year, I like to throw in a few new things to my kitchen, my home, and the whole world. I am a big fan of bringing in fresh seasonal produce. I don’t mean just what you’ll find in your grocery store, but what you’ll find in your local farmers’ market. That’s what I am doing this year.

Since Ive just recently become an organic farmer, Ive been thinking about how I can incorporate more local, seasonal, and organic products into my recipes. I was thinking along the lines of doing a few things with fresh peaches, tomatoes, berries, and other produce. One thing I was thinking about last summer was making a batch of apple cider with some local honey.
