As it turns out, the one ingredient that is all-important to us greens and tomatoes is the right kind of fungus. Fungi love to live in soil that is rich in potassium, and if you have a deep root system you can grow a huge garden and still have a lot of delicious greens. They are also the reason that tomatoes are not poisonous.
