Why would you use a digital camera to take a picture of what was actually in front of you? Why not use what you actually see with your own eyes, which is what you will get with the “real” cameras? The digital cameras are pretty, but they are not the real thing.
To be honest, most digital cameras are not at all digital enough. A good digital camera is a combination of film and digital processing. The whole sensor is replaced with a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) which is basically an array of mini computer chips. There are a few different kinds of CCDs, but the most common ones are CMOS (Complementary Metal-Semiconductor) and VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration).
Each CCD is capable of taking a million digital pictures, but the film in the camera takes the place of the CCD. When the film is exposed by the film camera, it is stored in a memory card which is used to store the recorded picture. In the case of a DSLR or a camcorder this memory card stores the picture as a digital file.
The screen is made up of a few different kinds of cards with a few basic functions: a main display, an interface, and a camera that can be turned on. Well then, I guess it’s possible that some other smart phone could do the same thing. I would definitely like to see this take place on my smart phone. It would be awesome. It would be the ultimate smart phone. It would be a miracle. It would be like nothing else. It would be like a computer made to be able to do all this cool stuff.
